Grand Restaurant Praha
Grand Restaurant Praha is a type of a prestigious high quality restaurant designed in the style of French Art Nouveau and is highly valued among the professional community for the quality of its cuisine and unique atmosphere enhanced by jazz and live piano music. It is located on the ground floor of the Grand Hotel Praha and its interior provides every visitor a real experience.
Culinary team headed by the chef Karel Janeček offers international and Czech specialties of the best quality and taste, vegetarian and children´s dishes as well as lunch menu.
Reconstruction of the Grand Restaurant Praha was carried out with maximum preservation of historical elements. The restaurant interior is divided into two parts (smoking and non-smoking) by Art Nouveau stained glass wall, which is openable in case of for example birthday parties, wedding banquets or corporate events for up to 50 people. The elegant interior is decorated with historical photographs of the Grand Hotel Praha and is designed in honor of Prague - the mother of cities. One of the dominant features is a statue of the kneeling Princess Libuše placed in a niche. Grand Restaurant Praha is equipped with luxury furniture, a hundred years old chandeliers and brocade curtains that give the restaurant charm, cosiness and privacy at the same time. Original cast-iron staircase connctes the restaurant with the Theatre Wine Bar.
